Three suspected kidnappers following their arrest in Makenji area of Kandara, Murang’a County on November 19, 2021.

The three suspected kidnappers were arrested in the Makenji district of Kandara, Murang'a District on Friday afternoon.

This came just hours after they kidnapped a 35-year-old woman at the Toll estate of the Juja sub-district.

The three of them are currently being held at the Juja Police Station, while the rescued woman is receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.

Juja DCIO Richard Mwaura confirmed the incident, saying the suspects had previously tracked down two other male victims, who were reported to have been thrown from a moving vehicle prior to their arrest.

According to the officer, they received news of his abduction one morning, where it was said that a lady had been kidnapped and driven towards Thika.

Detectives, who took action, managed to catch these rogue criminals after kilometers of chase by following the vehicle in question.

After the dramatic arrest, it was revealed that the rogue killers had 6 cell phones and a sharp, bloody kitchen knife that they used to commit their crimes.

This is not the first time we have witnessed such an event where people in private vehicles were abducted and some were even dead.

But the police are working day and night to ensure Kenyans maintain adequate security across the country.

Many should be warned not to take the elevator from these particular cars, as many are now revealed to be just bandits disguised as good samaritans.
