Britain's Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, arrive to the Intrepid, Sea Air & Space Museum's inaugural Intrepid Valor Awards on November 10, 2021 in New York.

Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, spoke about how she and her husband, Prince Harry, are "happy" to live in California, where they moved in March 2020.

The couple moved to Los Angeles in March 2020 after senior members of the royal family and their two children, Archie, and Lilibet, two and five months old, announced they would be stepping back as duchess, 40. The 37-year-old prince admitted that they enjoy "spending a lot of time at home" as a family.

He said: "We moved here during the lock-down, exactly when things closed, so we were able to spend a lot of time at home and create our home, but I think it's just the lifestyle and the weather is pretty awesome.

"But we're just happy."

But Meghan hasn't been getting much sleep lately as the former actress and Harry's daughter are teething.

She explained: "She's fine sleeping, but her teeth are starting to come in. Any mom will understand that.

“They may be the best sleepers in the world, and you have a lot of sympathy for them the moment it happens.

"So yeah, I was up most of the night."

The Duchess has admitted that Archie is a big fan of Lili being a big sibling.

He said: "He likes being a big brother. I think it's just, everybody tells you - well, someone said to H and me, 'When you have a kid it's a hobby and parenting two kids.'

“Suddenly, 'Oh, we got it right.' Everyone talks about what it's like for the second child, but no one talks about harmony for the first child when the second child comes along.

"I think right now I'm like, 'Oh, that's fun. Oh, that's how it is now.' "

Meghan also talked about her teenage years and admitted that she had to climb out of the trunk of a car she used to own because the key didn't work.

Speaking on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', he said, "[The car] had a life of its own. I had this very, very old Ford Explorer Sport, and at some point the keys stopped working on the driver's side, so you can't." Don't throw yourself in the door.

“After the audition I would park in the back of the parking lot, open the trunk and climb up, close it behind me, and climb all my seats to get off. I would arrive this way. It wasn't ideal!”
