Britney Spears targeted Christina Aguilera after she distanced herself from a reporter who asked her to comment on the end of the former conservatory.

The "Beautiful" hitmaker, who had competed against the "Mickey Mouse Club" star for years, was asked by a reporter on the red carpet at the 2021 Latin Grammy Awards if she'd spoken to the "Toxic" hitmaker after her conservatism ended. .

The journalist asked: "Did you have any communication or are you going to celebrate?"

But the 40-year-old pop star's publicist intervened and quickly drove her client away.

“No, we're not doing this tonight, sorry,” she said.

However, Christina managed to say, “I can't…but I'm happy for her.”

And reacting to the clip, Britney said, "I love and adore everyone who supports me... but refusing to speak when you know the truth is equivalent to a lie!!!!

“Being in a corrupt, abusive system for 13 years, why is it such a hard topic for people to talk about??? I'm living this!!!! Thank you to all the supporters who spoke and supported me… yes I am important!!!!! (sic)"

Christina has previously voiced her support for the 39-year-old singer and the #FreeBritney movement amid her legal battle to end her father Jamie Spears' control over her 13-year life.

She wrote in a lengthy statement at the time: "I've been thinking about Britney and everything she's been through for the past few days.

"It is unacceptable that a woman or a person who wants to keep their destiny in their own hands is not allowed to live as they wish.

“Being silenced, ignored, bullied or rejected by those 'close' to you is the most consuming, destructive and humiliating thing imaginable. The damaging mental and emotional damage this can do to a human psyche is not to be taken lightly.

“Every woman should have the right to her own body, her own reproductive system, her own privacy, her own space, her own healing and her own happiness.

Spears and Aguilera both starred in 'The Mickey Mouse Club House' together as young stars, and grew up as friends and competitors in the industry.

“While I am not behind the closed doors of this multilayered and personal but public speaking engagement, all I can do is share from my heart what I hear, read and see in the media.

“The faith and desperation of this demand for freedom leads me to believe that this person I once knew lived without the compassion and kindness of those in control.

“I promise a woman who works under conditions and pressures that most can't even imagine deserves all the freedom possible to live her happiest life.

"My heart goes out to Britney she. She deserves all the REAL love and support in the world."
