Prince Harry recently opened up on his personal life in an interview with James Corden where they discussed Megxit, life in the US, and the royal’s thoughts on The Crown. Speaking during the interview, he revealed baby Archie’s first word and the reason why he decided to step back from the Royal Family.

Harry who shares a son with his wife Meghan Markle, described their baby Archie as hysterical and with the most amazing personality. He went on to reveal their son’s first words which included a crocodile.

“My son is now just over a year and a half, he is hysterical. He’s got the most amazing personality, he’s already putting three, four words together. He’s already singing songs,” Harry responded when asked about his fatherhood journey.

He continued to add,

“My grandmother asked us what Archie wanted for Christmas and Meg said a waffle maker. She sent us a waffle maker for Archie. So breakfast now, Meg makes up a beautiful organic mix in the waffle maker.”

Speaking on his step back from the Royal Family that caught many by surprise, Harry blamed toxic British media for his departure. He, however, noted that he never walked away from the Royal Family but only stepped back to protect his family from the toxicity.

“I was like ‘This is toxic’, so I did what any husband and any father would do, I want to get my family out of here,” he explained.

Adding,

“We never walked away and as far as I’m concerned whatever decisions are made on that side, I will never walk away. I will always be contributing, my life is public service, so wherever I am in the world, it’s going to be the same thing.”
